Originally called Olives Media, the company was founded in December 2010 by Andrew Omogo, at the time, a senior journalism student at the United States International University – Africa (USIU Africa) and a 2014 President Barrack Obama’s Mandela Washington Fellow.

We rebranded to Impactnet Africa in November 2019 and expanded to be an advocacy platform for Innovative Media, Technology, and Public Policy in Africa; using technological innovation to solve seemingly complex public policy challenges in Africa. We spend time developing and investing in the development of mega public policy concepts and projects, potentially seeing gaps in the ones being implemented and redesigning them to ensure they succeed.

To ensure our continuity as a startup and advance to optimum stability, we have been involved in regular outsourced services like Cyber Café, internet access, and printing. However, our innovative approach to public policy solutions, projects, online news presence, and close involvement with the government has now begun receiving the attention of international partners.

Any investor getting in with Impactnet Africa is set to make millions of Dollars in huge technological projects. We partner with various organizations, mostly startups, in developing the best policy concepts for projects that gain our interest. Impactnet Africa contributes to the well being of our world by contributing to the following United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

  • SDG One: No Poverty
  • SDG Three: Good Health and Well Being
  • SDG Seven: Affordable and Clean Energy
  • SDG Eight: Decent Work and Economic Growth
  • SDG Nine: Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure
  • SDG Ten: Reduced Inequalities
  • SDG Twelve: Responsible Consumption and Production
  • SDG Sixteen: Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions
